As a general rule, stage hands and roadies are wonderful folks. If you are free lancing a theater gig, the hands hired by the venue are THERE to help you! Let them do it. Speaking of stage hands, not only are they typically great guys, most I have met are impeccably knowledgeable, and they don’t respond to arrogance. A good stage hand is the best friend a musician will ever have! Period!
