If you are like me, you use different instruments with different amps on different occasions. Furthermore (for example), a Music Man sounds completely different than a Modulus plugged in to the same Genz Benz or MBE. I’ve been known to spend untold hours in my studio dialing up that perfect sound, just to…..(you know the rest)! Now I keep a pictorial record on my iphone of each setting on each amp for each instrument I regularly use. I even carry photos of my compressors. It is at least a starting point .
